  • If you pay by credit card, your credit card details will also be collected. We will only use your credit card details for the current transaction. Please enter them every time you use the card. § 3
AUTOMATED DATA ACQUISITION BY COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file which is stored in your internet browser’s cache and aids the operation of the website, as well as allowing analysis of your use of the website. The next time you visit our internet pages, your browser reads the cookie and transmits the data in it back to the internet page or element which originally created the cookie.
Two types of cookies are used on our website:

  • Session cookies:
    These are temporary cookies which remain on your computer until the internet browser is closed down. These cookies are necessary to enable individual applications or functions of the website to work properly.
  • Persistent cookies:
    PrüstelGP GmbH may use persistent cookies to make the site more user-friendly (eg. to provide optimal navigation of the site). These are cookies which remain in your internet browser’s cookie folder for a longer period of time. The time period depends on your internet browser settings. Persistent cookies allow information to be transmitted to the web server every time a website is visited.

You can find out more about these techniques and how they work on sites such as allaboutcookies.org.
The following data will be captured automatically by your computer system when you access the PrüstelGP GmbH website:

  • your internet address (IP address), without the last digit, so that the IP address can no longer be precisely located;
  • type and version of internet browser you are using;
  • details of internet browser plug-ins;
  • the web page from which you accessed our site (Referrer URL);
  • the operating system you are using;
  • your language setting;
  • your Internet Service Provider;
  • the web page from which you are directed to external web pages;
  • the date and time you accessed the website;
  • your screen resolution;
  • search terms you used to find our website;
  • your log-in passwords, irreversibly encrypted.

This data is stored separately from any further data that you may have given us. This data is not linked to your other data. It is analysed for statistical purposes, so that we can optimise our web pages and offers. This data is deleted once it has been analysed.
You are able to accept or decline all cookies from all websites visited by changing the settings in your internet browser. For example, if you are using Internet Explorer Version 8.0, do the following:

  1. Select “Tools” and then “Internet Options”.
  2. Click on “Privacy”.
  3. Use the slider to choose your preferred setting.

Please note that deactivating cookies disables certain functions on the PrüstelGP GmbH website and as a result you will not have access to the website’s full functionality. If you do not know how to change the settings in your internet browser, or delete cookies, please read the instructions provided by your browser on how to do this. If you wish to block cookies from third parties (or change your mind later), you can view the possible options on the following website:

§ 4
USE OF THE SHARE BUTTONS FOR SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES
(FACEBOOK, TWITTER)

4.1 Facebook: Facebook Share button
We have a Facebook Share button on our website.
If you access a page on our website and press the Facebook Share button, your browser will create a direct link with the servers of the social networking site Facebook operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). Facebook will then receive the information that your browser has accessed the page in question on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account. This information (including your IP address) will be transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the US, where it will be stored.
If you are already logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit to our website directly with your Facebook account. When you click on the Facebook Share button, shown with the Facebook logo, or make a comment, the corresponding information will likewise be transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.
Facebook can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and customising Facebook pages to meet demand. This information is used by Facebook to create profiles of usage, interests and relationships, e.g. to evaluate your usage of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website, and to provide further services connected to the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected on our website with your Facebook account, do not click on the Facebook Share button or, if you are already logged in to Facebook, log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
For details of the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please see Facebook’s data use policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

§ 5
CONSENT AND REVOCATION OF CONSENT

If you have given us your consent for the use, processing and transmission of your personal details for marketing purposes (e.g. electronic newsletter or offers, use of Google Analytics), you can revoke this consent for future use of your data, at any time, by any means, and without notice. In addition, if your data is also being used as permitted by law, for example for postal marketing activities, you can request that it is no longer used in this way.
In both cases please send your request:

Your payment details will be transmitted to the credit card company to complete credit card payments. This data will be deleted afterwards. The data passed to third parties will be used by them solely to carry out their obligations or tasks. Your data will not be passed to third parties in any other circumstances.
Nor will your personal data be sold to, or shared with, third parties for their independent use without your prior agreement.
Transmission to governmental institutions or administrative bodies will only be carried out in line with national legal requirements.
§ 7
RETENTION PERIOD FOR STORED DATA

Your personal data will only be kept for as long as this is necessary for the provision of our services. Occasionally, storage of data for a longer period may be required to meet statutory or legal obligations.
